Initial situation
Kitchen wastewater: sewer chambers and grease traps.
Actions taken
The product was added to sinks upstream of the grease traps. The hotel’s engineering team described the outcome in a letter of appreciation to its supplier.
Application results
With regular BIOFOX application, accumulated grease cleared from the sewer chambers and odour from the grease traps disappeared. Staff observed fat breakdown when opening, emptying and cleaning the equipment.
Site and period
A qualitative assessment by the operator. The letter does not provide a numerical series from which to calculate percentage changes.
