Programme outcome
Experience from May 2013 · letter dated 10 December 2015
Initial plant: 4,000 m³/day · operational assessment in a 2015 letter
Initial situation
The initial plant had an average flow of approximately 4,000 m³/day. BIOFOX had been used there since May 2013. The letter describes one operator’s experience and subsequent expansion of the programme.
Actions taken
Following implementation at the first plant, the operator continued using the product. Those results led to a decision to introduce it at a second site in May 2014; implementation at a third site began in November 2015.
Application results
At the initial plant, the operator reported reaching its specified discharge limits and reducing blower electricity consumption by 15–20%. The results enabled reconstruction plans to be reconsidered and application to be extended to other facilities.
Site and period
The 15–20% electricity reduction concerns blowers at the initial plant, with a flow of approximately 4,000 m³/day. The result and subsequent programme expansion are described in the operator’s letter dated 10 December 2015.
Documentary basis
Operator’s letter dated 10 December 2015, reference 358, one page. It distinguishes the initial plant’s results from later implementation at two additional sites.
